I went skiing in Tahoe last weekend and it was honestly one of the most beautiful and majestic places I have ever been. The feeling of being on top of Heavenly at 10,000 ft looking out at Lake Tahoe with a 360 degree panorama of magnificent natural beauty around you is just unparalleled. 

Also, I admit it, west coast skiing > east coast skiing. Fine, you win everyone.
